National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (also known as Orange Shirt Day)

Today, orange means more.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and stand with Indigenous families and communities.

Our work alongside survivors of human trafficking has also deepened our understanding of the ongoing impact of colonialism and the disproportionate violence and exploitation experienced by Indigenous people.

Today and every day, we commit to listening, learning and doing our part toward reconciliation.

Every Child Matters.
